As Tax Accountant, you will be a key member of our leadership team responsible for overseeing all aspects of client tax engagements, while fostering relationships that make clients feel supported and understood. Primary Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients on tax strategy, planning, and compliance
• Manage and review complex individual and business tax returns
• Collaborate with partners and clients on proactive planning initiatives
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations
• Perform high-level tax research and present findings clearly to clients
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance workflow and efficiency
• Lead tax projections and estimated tax payment planning
• Communicate with taxing authorities regarding client matters
• Stay current with evolving tax laws and communicate relevant changes internally and externally
• Support other special projects and firm initiatives as needed

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in tax preparation and advisory (Required)
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax codes and regulations
• Proficiency with tax software (e.g., UltraTax, Drake, or similar)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities
• Creative problem-solver and collaborative team player
• Passionate about client service and continual learning
