Qualifications:

• Valid and active ODE teaching license in Special Education (required)
• Experience or specialized training working with preschool-aged children

• Commitment to collaborating with families, fellow educators, and related service providers
• Excellent communication, empathy, and classroom management skills
• Willingness to travel and provide on-site support as needed

Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons tailored to each child’s abilities and needs
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, growth, and independence
• Assess students’ progress, maintain accurate records, and adapt instructional strategies as needed
• Work closely with paraprofessionals and therapists to ensure comprehensive support
• Actively participate in ARD/IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional development sessions
• Advocate for students and help nurture strong home-school relationships
