Position Description: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Shipping Administrator to support and coordinate daily shipping and logistics operations. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate shipment processing, timely product delivery, and effective communication between warehouse teams, carriers, vendors, and customers. Position Responsibilities: •\tPrepare, review and process shipping documents including bills of lading, packing slips, labels, and invoices
•\tSchedule shipments with freight carriers, parcel services, and delivery vendors
•\tMonitor shipment status, track deliveries, and proactively resolve delays, discrepancies, or transportation issues
•\tMaintain accurate shipping and inventory records in company systems
•\tVerify orders, quantities, and shipping information for accuracy
•\tCoordinate with warehouse and production teams to prioritize shipments
•\tCommunicate shipment updates, delivery timelines, and issue resolutions to customers and internal departments
•\tEnsure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and shipping regulations
•\tAssist with inventory counts and reconciliation when needed
•\tMonitor shipping supplies and reorder materials as necessary
•\tSupport continuous improvement efforts for shipping and logistics processes
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Preferred Skills - •\tKnowledge of freight, LTL, UPS, FedEx, and common carrier procedures
•\tFamiliarity with inventory control practices
•\tBasic understanding of import/export documentation is a plus
•\tAbility to prioritize deadlines and manage multiple shipments simultaneously
Qualifications - •\tHigh school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred
•\t1–3 years of shipping, logistics, warehouse, or administrative experience preferred
•\tProficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook
•\tExperience using ERP, WMS, or shipping software is a plus
