Key Responsibilities of the RN - PACU
- Provide and coordinate nursing care for patients in PACU
- Utilize nursing judgment supported by evidence and nursing theory
- Manage and delegate resources effectively
- Maintain optimum health goals for patients and their families
Requirements of the RN - PACU
- Graduate of a program accredited by the CCNE or ACEN
- Current license to practice registered nursing in the State of Ohio
- 2+ years of recent PACU experience
- Experience with Epic within the last 12 months
- 1+ years of recent phlebotomy experience
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification or completion within six weeks of hire
