Roofer Helper

Job Duties: Help roofers by performing duties requiring less skill. Assist roofer with repair and replacement of slate, copper and tile roofs. Duties include using, supplying or holding materials or tools, and cleaning work area and equipment. Cut/attach roofing paper and tile or slate using nails. Load/unload trucks. Lift/carry materials and equipment up ladders.

Special Requirements: Must be able to climb ladders and have no fear of heights. Must lift/carry 50 lbs., when necessary. Saturday work required, when necessary. Post-hire drug testing required of foreign and domestic workers upon suspicion of use. Employer may offer more than the stated work hours depending on weather, business needs, and other conditions. Extreme heat, cold, rain, or drought may affect exact working hours.
