Area Manager
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Overall management and budgetary responsibility for all injection core prep and NDT operations in the front end of operations
- Manage new employee training and coordinate with Training Supervisor
- Maintain a safe working environment and assure compliance with all EHS requirements
- Ensure adherence to process control procedures operating instructions and all quality control instructions
- Responsible for manufacturing methods improvement productivity improvements and quality/scrap improvements
- Coordination with Human Resources the staffing and personnel deployment decisions
- Plan and execute daily manufacturing schedule for schedule compliance
- Coordinate efforts of Supervisors and Department Leads to solve problems improve quality and reduce scrap
- Direct efforts to increase labor utilization and reduce costs
- Ensures a team environment and motivates employees by maintaining a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a professional manner
- Interaction with Mold Masters internal support organizations (i.e. engineering maintenance 6S & quality) in connection with departmental initiatives
- Mange operations within a three shift facility
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of 5 years experience in Manufacturing Operations
- Minimum of 3 years experience in Manufacturing Direct Supervision
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Experience in Investment Casting industry preferred
- Bi-lingual (Spanish) is a plus
