Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with 8 CRNAs and 1 MD in a hospital-based practice.
• Manage a flexible work schedule from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, including 8 or 10-hour shifts as needed.
• Administer anesthesia for a diverse range of surgical cases, averaging 20-30 OR cases per day.
• Perform procedures independently, including pre-ops, inductions, emergences, and nerve blocks.
• Participate in a robust pain management program one day per week in the OR.
• Utilize updated medical technology and organized EMR systems.
• Provide care to mainly adult patients, with some pediatric cases.
• Support and mentor new graduate candidates in their career development.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified AANA (by start date) - REQUIRED
• Ohio license (or willingness to obtain) - REQUIRED
• BLS, ACLS, & PALS certifications (by start date) - REQUIRED
• NRP certification - HIGHLY PREFERRED
• DEA certificate (must be obtained prior to start) - REQUIRED
• Minimum of 3 years of employment experience as a CRNA - PREFERRED

License and Certification Requirements:

• Board Certification in Nurse Anesthesia
• Current Ohio state nursing license or willingness to obtain
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• DEA certification (to be obtained prior to start)
