Complete corporate accounting processes. This includes executing asset impairment analyses, preparation of the statement of cash flows, assist with budget development and management forecasting, tax credit accounting, special projects, preparation of journal entries, managing and completing all financial reporting responsibilities, completing accounting policies, recording of transactions and preparing audited and internal financial statements.

Functions

1. Review operational performance and financial results determine if tangible or intangible asset impairment charges should be recorded
2. Prepare and tie out the statement of cash flows, including preparation of supporting documentation
3. Assist with budget development, management forecasting and budget vs. actual reporting
4. Manage the process of recording ongoing transactional activity associated with investment-based tax credits
5. Communicate and explain financial results to various business partners
6. Complete and record all financial transactions
7. Prepare annual audited financial statements which will include all relevant financial statements and footnotes
8. Serve as the primary contact for external auditors for items related to the preparation and audit of the annual financial statements
9. Develop and maintain all internal control polices
10. Collaborate and assist with business partners on certain business transactions by establishing, coordinating and documenting accounting processes
11. Develop a strategy for all financial aspects, including continuous improvement of financial systems, reporting and accounting procedures
12. Prepare various quarterly consolidating entries and account reconciliations
13. Assist with corporate accounting team in executing various quality control, process improvement initiatives and special projects

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance
2. 4+ years of Accounting/Finance experience, CPA strongly preferred
3. Prior experience in an accounting/finance position with a public company or a public accounting firm
4. Prior financial statement preparation and reporting experience
5. Excellent oral/written communication skills
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
7. Ability to prioritize/multi-task while providing accurate/on-time results
8. Strong project management skills with the ability to effectively meet deadlines
9. Ability to learn and adapt to new systems and software
10. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
11. Excellent planning, organizational, and follow-up skills with close attention to detail
