Production Supervisor – Night Shift

Pay Rate: $24.00/hour

Shift: Monday–Friday | 9:00 PM – 6:00 AM

Location: Sidney, OH

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Production Supervisor to lead and coordinate departmental activities in a fast-paced metal manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for supervising hourly associates, supporting production goals, and ensuring company policies and safety standards are followed.

The ideal candidate will have previous manufacturing leadership experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with both management and production teams.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate hourly associates to achieve departmental objectives and production goals
• Delegate duties and support daily operations as directed by management
• Communicate with managers and other personnel to review performance, production status, and operational goals
• Serve as a liaison between management and production associates to resolve workflow and production issues
• Assist with training, coaching, and evaluating employees
• Support disciplinary actions, employee development, and problem resolution
• Maintain a safe and productive work environment

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred OR 3–5 years of directly related metal manufacturing experience
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience required
• Experience with sand casting or technical manufacturing processes is helpful but not required
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, and reaching
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with loud noise levels and high temperatures during summer months
• Must have good vision, depth perception, and focus abilities

Requirements

• Valid Driver’s License required
• Steel-toed work boots required
• Safety equipment provided

Work Environment

This position is based in a manufacturing plant environment. Conditions may include loud noise levels, heat exposure, and physically demanding work.
