Job Details:

• This position is Full-time on the road, driving 3 - 4 days a week.
• Total hours could be between 32 - 40 hours a week.

Driving will include, but not be limited to:

• Following all safety regulations & promoting safe practices.
• Staggered hours. On days that pickups are needed, the driver could start as early as 3 - 4 a.m.
• Keep up with the electronic driving log.
• Keep up with routine maintenance on the truck. Set up an appointment to have the truck serviced, scheduled maintenance, etc.
• Gather all mileage needed for the state department and quarterly/annual numbers.
• Will have occasional local pick-ups/drop-offs.
• Reporting any faulty equipment or anything that is wearing out that needs to be replaced (straps, tires, load bars, etc.)

Work Experience:

• Experience driving a 53 ft. dry van trailer & conestoga retractable
• Knowledge of DOT / FMCSA load securement guidelines
• Securing loose material on a flat-bed trailer.
• Clean driving record (State of OH).

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Current Class A CDL License.

Contingent upon passing a pre-employment drug screen test, including marijuana testing and on road drivers test.
