Summary

We are seeking skilled Electricians to join our team at AC Electric in both our Akron and Cleveland offices. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various settings. Your expertise will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of our electrical services.

• Lighting-commercial installations and trouble shooting
• Bucket truck services
• Underground installations (company owned trencher and boring tool)

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine layout and installation requirements.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment such as voltmeters and ohmmeters to ensure proper functionality.
• Adhere to the National Electrical Code (NEC) and safety standards while working on construction sites.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
• Have a clear understanding of the National Electrical Code and Electrical Theory.
• Well groomed and able to communicate with customers.

Expectations

• Proven experience as an electrician or similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of electrical systems and components.
• Able to find Code requirements in the NEC
• Able to trouble shoot residential and commercial
• Minimum 5-years of electrical field experience
• Able to work a rotating emergency call shift on weekends
• Ability to read technical documents and schematics accurately.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Be able to pass a criminal background and drug test
• Clean driving record

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $27.00 - $35.00 per hour
