Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Stepdown/HVTI unit position requiring a minimum of 18 months of Stepdown experience and an active OH or Compact RN license.

Details

• Work in an HVTI Stepdown unit within a large hospital campus setting
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (3x12s only)
• Floating may be required to other units caring for the same patient population
• Every other holiday coverage is required

Requirements

• Active OH RN license or Compact state RN license currently in hand
• Current certifications required: BLS (AHA or American Red Cross), ACLS, and NIHSS
• Minimum 18 months of combined permanent experience in the specialty
• Minimum 18 months of recent Stepdown experience required (travel experience accepted)
• PCU/Progressive Care experience preferred
• Must provide two professional references for consideration
• Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

• ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments are completed during orientation, with acceptable scores required on both
• Travelers may not exceed 18 consecutive months at any facility location within this health system
• After completing an assignment, a minimum 6-month gap is required before beginning a new assignment at any location within this health system
