Location: Health Services Department at FCI/FSL Elkton- Lisbon, OH Job Type: Full-time Overview: Spectrum Healthcare Resources, a premier healthcare services provider, is seeking a dedicated civilian Rad Teck for a potential opportunity at The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office in Lisbon, OH. Hours of Performance: Monday to Friday, 0600-1700 (40 hours per week) Responsibilities: Able to performa ll requested X-ray examinations ordered by the health care providers of FCI/FSL Elkton. Knowledge and use of GE Definum 800 and Definium 5000 digital x-ray machines between the FCI/FSL. Perform quality assurance protocol weekly maintenance. Knowledge and use of Fuji, Dri-Pix 5000 image copier for digital radiological equipment. Alter and QC digital images and send digitally through a MedWeb and StatRad internet system. Maintian paper filing system for patient encounters and final reports. Be able to work in correctional enviornment. Qualifications: Graduation from a Rad Tech program that qualifies for state licensure/certification. Three letters of reference Proof of Hepatitis B vaccination, TB Skin test of chest radiography, AHA CPR certification Training in radiation physics, biology, health, safety/protection, X-ray films/digital radiography, image quality, and radiographic techniques meeting or exceeding 42 C.F.R.
