What You'll Do

As a Fabricator, you'll be part of our Fabrication team located in Willard, Ohio You'll get to:

• Work on the hang line (hanging and inspecting parts)

• Safely operate any necessary equipment, including weld cells

• Use PPE, such as arm guards, face shields and Kevlar aprons (while grinding)

• Conduct visual inspections of both in-process and finished welded products

• Maintain a clean and organized work area to meet 6S standards (e.g. cleaning, mopping)

• Follow practices that meet quality standards as it pertains to fabrication operations

• Complete assigned production activities according to ISO work instructions

• Setup of workstations as needed

• Report any safety or quality issues to the appropriate personnel

• Abide by all SBD policies and procedures

• Other related production duties as assigned by the Supervisor or designee

Who You Are

• High School Diploma or GED

• Able to work overtime

• Manual dexterity: ability to use hand tools and other equipment as needed

• Ability to walk, stand, and lift up to 40 lbs. for a minimum of eight hours daily

• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, including ISO work instructions

• Able to operate in a fast-paced work environment

• Willingness to learn the facility safety rules and regulations

• Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Ability to interact with other associates throughout the facility

• Previous fabrication and/or light industrial experience is a plus
