Job Title: Electrical Assembler 20+

Job Description

Join our team as a Electrical Assembler where you will play a pivotal role in assembling fabricated parts into larger subassemblies and completed units. You will perform testing and calibration on parts to ensure they meet tolerances and specifications, contributing to the production of high-quality units.

Responsibilities

• Assemble parts into relatively large and heavy subassemblies.
• Electrical wiring of HVAC units and panels.
• Operate material handling equipment including pallet jacks and scissor lifts.
• Utilize basic hand and power tools such as wrenches, drills, pliers, and impacts.
• Read and understand drawings and prints to assemble units according to correct specifications.
• Perform other production duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

• Electrical assembly proficiency.
• Experience with wiring panels.
• Ability to accurately read a tape measure.
• Competence in blueprint reading and interpretation.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a electrical assembly role.
• Capability to lift 50 lbs regularly.
• Ability to interpret assembly drawings and schematics.

Work Environment

This role takes place in a loud production environment requiring frequent sitting, standing, crawling, bending, reaching, and using hands and fingers to handle various sized objects. The facility builds data cooling centers for major clients, ensuring that panels remain cool with the use of fans, as they can get extremely hot.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Akron, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
