Position Summary


Introducing Nestlé Purina’s new Williamsburg Township, Ohio, factory – just 30 miles east of Cincinnati. This world-class factory is being built from the ground up to produce a wide variety of some of the most trusted and beloved pet care brands in the U.S. Our passionate team in Williamsburg Township will work in an environment that values safety, the latest technology in manufacturing and a culture of learning. Join our dynamic Warehouse team as a Shag Driver and play a crucial role in the fast-paced operations at our new Williamsburg Township, OH facility. In this role, you will be at the forefront of tractor trailer movements, ensuring seamless transportation activities.


Embrace the future of logistics as you utilize cutting-edge digital systems to streamline shipping and receiving processes, seamlessly communicate with team members across the warehouse, and foster efficient collaboration while maximizing productivity.


In this position, you will have the opportunity to make a lasting impact on our growing Warehouse team. Take the lead in creating engaging training materials and supporting the onboarding process for future Shag Drivers. Your expertise and guidance will be instrumental in shaping the success of our expanding team.


This position will be a night shift role, 6pm-6am, on a 2-2-3 schedule (two days on, two days off, three days on)
.


  • Perform daily maintenance checks of shag trucks and trailers and complete written reports
  • Perform daily yard check as directed for loaded and empty trailers
  • Move/spot all trailers as directed
  • Has proficient knowledge of all finished products to facilitate the proper rotation of stock using the FIFO (First In First Out) method
  • Keep equipment clean and orderly and assist with general housekeeping to maintain food safety standards
  • Comply with all Nestlé and plant-specific policies
  • Perform all other duties as assigned


Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1+ year experience driving a commercial trailer/truck with proficiency reversing/backing up to dock doors
  • Experience facilitating trainings, preferably within a fast-paced warehouse, manufacturing, industrial or related environment


Other

  • Valid Class A CDL License preferred


The approximate hourly pay for this position is $27.85. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location of the position.
