Coordinator II Solon Administration

Our department is looking to add a Coordinator II to their collaborative team of caregivers. You will coordinate department project activities and develops department resource database to facilitate management of various project activities. You will also coordinate department scheduling of individuals, resources and activities. The ideal future caregiver is someone who: -Has medical office experience. -Is proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook. -Has teamwork and motivational skills. -Demonstrates excellent customer service skills. Responsibilities:
- Collects, maintains and reports information for the department such as; patient information, budgets, employee PTO and schedules.
- Assists with the coordination of various department activities by distributing reports, facilitating the analysis and reporting of information.
- Functions as department liaison by coordinating various activities and providing customer support to internal and external customers.
- Assists with performance evaluations, counseling and on-boarding of new employees.
- Performs duties related to the preparation, implementation and analysis of special studies and projects.
- Maintains office supplies and equipment.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education:
- High School or GED required.
Certifications:
- None required.
Complexity of Work:
- Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Work Experience:
- Minimum of three years experience coordinating and assisting with management functions and special projects; proficient with spreadsheets, word processing and database software.
- Experience ordering supplies, coordination meetings, managing office events and handling service requests preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods
- Ability to operate a computer and other office and laboratory equipment
- Ability to travel throughout the hospital system
- Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information.
Personal Protective Equipment:
- Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
Pay Range: $16.47 - $23.61 / hour
The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires. While the pay range is displayed as an hourly rate, Cleveland Clinic recruiters will clarify whether the compensation is hourly or salary. A successful candidate's actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate's work history, experience, skill set, and education. This is not inclusive of the value of Cleveland Clinic's benefits package, which includes among other benefits, healthcare/dental/vision and retirement.
