Responsibilities:Application Developer (C#, ASP.NET, SQL Server)
Massillon, OH (Hybrid Schedule)
The Application Developer is responsible for the design, development, and support of business-critical information systems, including both in-house developed and vendor-provided solutions. This role partners closely with the business to identify needs, scope solutions, and deliver reliable, scalable applications while also supporting and enhancing existing systems. You’ll be hands-on across the full stack — from ASP.NET and C# services to SQL Server–backed data models — with opportunities to influence architecture, improve performance, and introduce modern development practices.
Your seat at the table:
- Builds and supports applications using C# and ASP.NET with a strong focus on maintainability and performance
- Designs, develops, and optimizes SQL Server–based solutions , including complex queries, stored procedures, and integrations
- Works directly with business partners to understand requirements, identify root causes, and deliver practical solutions
- Takes ownership of issues end-to-end — documenting, resolving, or escalating as appropriate
- Continuously looking for opportunities to improve code quality, system reliability, and development processes
- Supports integrations between internal systems and external/vendor platforms
- Research and evaluate new technologies to increase productivity and streamline processes
What you bring to the table:
- Associate degree or higher in MIS, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong C# and ASP.NET experience , including ASP.NET MVC / Web API and modern ASP.NET patterns
- Experience with software development that targets SQL Server
- Experience with web technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, Razor/Blazor Pages
- Experience supporting and modernizing existing systems while building new solutions
- BONUS: Experience with migration of Visual Basic Webforms to ASP MVC or equivalent
- BONUS: Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud data technologies such as Fabric and PowerApps
