What You’ll Be Doing
- Perform structural analysis and design for steel, concrete, masonry, and wood-framed structures.
- Develop detailed drawings, plans, and specifications in collaboration with design teams.
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and consultants to ensure smooth project execution.
- Conduct field inspections and site visits to evaluate structural conditions and ensure compliance with plans.
- Review shop drawings, perform calculations, and prepare technical reports.
- Participate in client meetings and contribute to project planning and presentations.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering (Master’s preferred).
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within a short timeframe.
- 5+ years of structural engineering experience, ideally within a consulting or design environment.
- Strong working knowledge of structural codes and standards (IBC, ASCE, AISC, ACI).
- Proficiency in structural design software (e.g., RISA, RAM, ETABS, Revit).
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to team success.
- Detail-oriented mindset and the ability to handle multiple concurrent projects.
