As a Nursing Scheduler / Central Supply Clerk , you play a vital behind-the-scenes role ensuring proper staffing coverage and the availability of essential medical supplies—both critical to resident safety and team success.

• Create, manage, and maintain nursing schedules for STNAs and licensed staff

• Schedule team members according to census, PPD targets, Atrium guidelines, and regulatory standards

• Review schedules daily to ensure adequate coverage and address gaps

• Communicate staffing concerns and trends to the Director of Nursing and leadership team

• Contact staff to fill open shifts and support staffing reliability

• Monitor schedules for compliance with pay rules, staffing ratios, and CMS requirements

• Track staffing trends related to vacancies, resignations, and terminations

• Post schedules and communicate updates clearly and timely

• Active STNA certification required

• Strong interpersonal skills

• At least one (1) year experience in a hospital or long-term care setting preferred

• Experience with nursing scheduling, staffing, payroll, or central supply preferred

• Strong organizational and time-management skills

• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage detailed work

• Basic computer skills, including scheduling or inventory systems

• Clear communication skills and a professional, team-focused attitude

• Ability to meet physical and regulatory requirements of the role
