Steel It, LLC is an 8-year family-owned growing business! We manufacture and install structural misc. steel for general contractors, residential, and commercial clients. We are currently seeking a skilled Steel Fabricator to join our dynamic team.

Responsibilities:

• Fabricate and weld a variety of custom architectural metal products, including railings, stairs, gates, and structural components, following shop drawings and blueprints.
• Interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure accuracy in fabrication processes.
• Operate a variety of machinery and tools, including saws, plasma cutters, and welding equipment, to produce high-quality metal products.
• Conduct quality control checks throughout the fabrication process to ensure all products meet industry standards and client specifications.
• Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols and practices.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in steel fabrication and welding
• Must be able to pass a Flux Core Weld Test
• Proficient in reading and interpreting shop drawings and blueprints.
• Familiarity with structural steel fabrication processes and materials.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications in welding or fabrication preferred.
