Human Resources Director
We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and people-focused Human Resources Director to join the leadership team at a respected Long-Term Care facility. This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional who is passionate about employee engagement, recruitment, retention, compliance, and building a positive workplace culture within a healthcare setting.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all Human Resources operations for the facility
- Manage full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, and staffing initiatives
- Handle employee relations and conflict resolution professionally and confidentially
- Support employee engagement and retention efforts
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, policies, and regulatory requirements
- Oversee benefits administration, leave management, workers’ compensation, and unemployment claims
- Partner with department leaders to support staffing and operational goals
- Provide coaching, guidance, and performance management support to leadership and staff
- Coordinate training, development, and HR initiatives throughout the facility
Qualifications
- Previous Human Resources leadership experience required
- Healthcare or Long-Term Care experience preferred
- Strong understanding of employment law and HR best practices
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage sensitive situations with professionalism and discretion
- Strong problem-solving and leadership abilities
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
