Local CDL Class A Drivers

Home Daily, Day Shift, Night Shift, Full Time, Part Time

Slick Transport is looking for Class A CDL drivers to join our team. You will be working for a family owned and operated company. This is a home every night, with year-round work. Our focus this year is upgrading our employee experiences and we want drivers that are looking to be part of our growing team!

QUALIFICATIONS:

● Truck Driving - Will Train

● Dump, End-Dump, Flatbed, Semi - Will Train

● Pneumatic -Will Train

● Class A CDL (required)

LOCATION:

● Toledo, Ohio (Within 150 air-mile radius)

REQUIREMENTS:

● Class A CDL license; TWIC endorsements (or ability to obtain one) will reimburse

● Comply with all DOT rules and regulations as well as company policies and procedures

● Solid MVR, no serious violations in the last five years

● Successfully pass required DOT pre-employment screening

● Possess good communication skills

Essential Duties:

● Transport raw bulk, bagged raw materials, and finished goods to our customers

● Ensure delivery appointments are met, while providing excellent customer service

● Complete all necessary logbook and driver documentation requirements

● Pre/Post Trip Inspections of equipment to ensure mechanical, hydraulic, and safety issues are addressed

● Able to adapt and handle unexpected situations in a professional manner

● Physically capable of lifting up to 50lbs, squatting and using equipment necessary for delivery to include properly securing loads

● Ability to work in areas with exposure to dust, fumes and high noise levels

● Safely and efficiently maneuver trucks into loading and unloading positions

● Willingness to occasionally work weekends during peak season

● Start Times Vary

SCHEDULE:

● Day Shift

● Monday to Friday

● Weekends during Peak Season - Oct to Mar

● Year Round Work – no seasonal layoffs
