When it comes to where you work we know youve got choicesheres what we provide:

• Pay Rate: $17.50 per hour
• Up to $18.25 per hour with NADSP DSP certification(s)
• Position Status: Full-time 37.5 hours per week
• Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 am 3:30 pm

Responsibilities

Heres what to expect as a Coordinator:

• Plan instruction & group activities that focus on developing functional communication and social/recreational skills.
• Develop weekly schedules for staff and individuals with an emphasis on individual skill development personal interests and community interaction.
• Assist in the development implementation and monitoring of Individual Program Plans.
• Provide information and assist individuals in self-advocacy and decision-making regarding living work and social relationships.
• Help the individuals in identifying their needs for community supports and work to initiate community connections.
• Research develop and maintain community information and other resources relevant to the needs of the individuals.

Qualifications

Minimum requirements as a Coordinator:

• 6 Months of previous Direct Support Professional (DSP) or Direct Care Worker Experience
• A valid drivers license and 6 months driving experience
• 18 years of age
• Access to a vehicle with valid insurance registration and inspection
• Ability to communicate read write and understand the English language

Preferred but not required:

• Associates Degree or technical certification preferred
• 2 Years or more of previous Direct Support Professional (DSP) or Direct Care Worker experience
