Forklift Operator
Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable Forklift Operator to support daily warehouse and production operations. This role is responsible for safely operating forklifts to move materials, load/unload shipments, and maintain efficient workflow throughout the facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, or reach truck) safely and efficiently
- Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers
- Move raw materials and finished goods throughout the facility
- Stage materials for production and shipping
- Perform inventory checks and assist with cycle counts
- Inspect forklift equipment daily and report any issues
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures
Qualifications
- Previous forklift experience required
- Valid forklift certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to operate equipment in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math and inventory skills
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Standing, walking, and bending throughout shift
- Ability to work in varying warehouse conditions (heat/cold)
