Controls Engineer
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Controls Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing control systems for various applications. This role requires a strong understanding of both hardware and software components, as well as the ability to troubleshoot and optimize existing systems. The Controls Engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure project requirements are met efficiently and effectively.
Duties
- Design and develop control systems using programming languages such as C++ and Python.
- Create and interpret schematics for control systems and related hardware.
- Implement debugging processes to identify and resolve issues in control systems.
- Collaborate with project teams on scheduling and managing project timelines.
- Develop vision inspection systems to enhance product quality and efficiency.
- Utilize Arduino platforms for prototyping and testing control solutions.
- Apply knowledge of quantum engineering principles in advanced control applications.
- Conduct thorough testing of control systems to ensure reliability and performance.
- Provide technical support during system installation, commissioning, and maintenance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Python, and Perl.
- Experience with ARM microcontrollers and Arduino platforms is preferred.
- Strong understanding of debugging techniques and project scheduling methodologies.
- Familiarity with vision inspection system technologies is a plus.
- Knowledge of quantum engineering concepts is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
