Radiologic Technologist Job Details

• Position: Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech, X-ray Tech)
• Employment Type: Travel healthcare assignment
• Location: Columbus, OH 43210 (Ohio healthcare jobs)
• Start Date: October 20, 2025
• End Date: January 19, 2026
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: 4x10-hour day shifts (07:00 - 17:30), every third weekend required
• Hours per Week: 40
• On-call: Yes
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2110 - $2160

Radiology Technologist Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of recent experience as a Radiologic Technologist or X-ray Tech
• Active ARRT (R) certification required
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
• Valid Ohio Department of Health (ODH) Radiology license
• EPIC charting experience required
• Experience with GE Siemens, PACS, and portable X-ray equipment preferred
• Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)
• Two professional references required (at least one from a manager, director, or supervisor)

Radiologic Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures following established radiology protocols and safety standards
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including GE Siemens and portable X-ray units
• Utilize PACS and EPIC for image management, documentation, and clinical workflow
• Provide high-quality patient care in adult acute care and emergency healthcare settings
• Participate in on-call rotation and work every third weekend as scheduled
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, and Social Services
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, radiology regulations, and patient safety standards
