Travel RN Job Details Location: Columbus, OH 43210 (Ohio healthcare jobs) Unit: 9 BSH Ortho Neuro Spine Unit (Med Surg/PCU) Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse Shift: 3x12-Hour Day Shifts (07:00 - 19:30) – 12 Hour Days Hours per Week: 36 Duration: 17 weeks (September 22, 2025 – January 19, 2026) Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend required Patient Ratio: 1:3-4 Scrub Color: Navy Blue Charting System: Epic EMR Floating: Required within units of equivalent or lower acuity within the organization Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1940 - $1990 Registered Nurse Qualifications Minimum 2 years of recent PCU, Med Surg, or Telemetry RN experience Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (compact or Ohio state license required at submission) Graduation from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program BLS certification (required) ACLS certification (preferred) Proficiency with telemetry and Epic charting system Ability to float to similar or lower acuity units as needed Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only) Two professional references (one must be from a manager/director or formal leader) Must complete Ohio fingerprinting process promptly upon contract signing PCU Nurse Responsibilities Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care to adults and adolescents recovering from orthopedic, neuro, and spine surgeries Monitor and interpret telemetry, manage cardiac drips, and respond to changes in patient condition Administer medications, blood products, and manage central and peripheral lines Provide wound care, tracheostomy management, and support post-surgical recovery Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including IV therapy, physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy Document care accurately using Epic EMR Float to other units as required to meet patient care needs Participate in weekend and holiday coverage as scheduled Experience the best of Columbus, Ohio, while making a difference in patients' lives.
