Business Systems Analyst
Location: Onsite in Pittsburgh, PA / Cleveland, OH / Dallas, TX (will start out hybrid, must be open to working fully onsite)
Type: Long-Term Contract to Hire
Pay: $50-$55/hour W2
We are seeking a Business Analyst with strong experience working in enterprise SDLC environments supporting web and/or mobile applications. This individual will play a key role in gathering and refining requirements, writing user stories, and partnering with cross-functional teams to drive successful delivery in an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze business requirements and production specifications for application changes and enhancements
- Define system scope and objectives based on user needs and business processes
- Lead and support business process improvement initiatives to drive better outcomes
- Gather, refine, and document detailed functional requirements and user stories
- Identify system constraints, dependencies, and impacts of proposed changes
- Provide recommendations and solutions to address business challenges
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders, developers, and QA teams throughout the SDLC
- Support Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives
- Experience working in an enterprise SDLC environment (web and/or mobile applications)
- Strong experience with requirements gathering and refinement
- Experience writing user stories and managing backlogs
- Hands-on experience with JIRA and Confluence
- Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Background in Consumer Banking or financial services strongly preferred
- Opportunity to convert to full-time after contract period
