Payer Relations Manager
- Starting salary of $80,000 - $90,000 based on previous experience
- 6.5 paid holidays per year + 2 Floating holidays
- Approximately 10 days of PTO within first year

- Oversee the full life cycle of managed care contracts, including organization, compliance, and supporting all negotiations
- Serve as the primary point of contact for payer representatives, addressing and resolving issues related to enrollment, underpayments, and billing challenges
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at health plans to promote collaboration and resolve systemic issues
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment on payer strategies and resolution of issues
- Analyze market trends, payer policy changes, and coverage landscape to proactively adapt strategy
- Develop and manage the repository of payer and contract specific resources and documentation to support internal teams and providers
- Review and evaluate fee schedules and contracts of newly partnered practices to evaluate reimbursement opportunities
- Ensure that the billing systems are updated with the appropriate fees and rates
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration or related degree required.
- 5+ years of experience in payer relations, market access, and/or managed care within the healthcare industry required.

- Work Environment: This position is based in a professional office and/or remote office setting that consists of a climate-controlled indoor environment with standard office noise levels that utilizes computers, phones, and related technology.
