About the Opportunity
We are seeking a Corporate Legal Counsel to join our team in Concord, Ohio. This position is ideal for an attorney who enjoys a broad, generalist role and is comfortable handling complex legal matters with a high degree of independence.
In this role, you will support a wide range of legal functions including corporate governance, contracts, compliance, intellectual property, antitrust matters, M&A activity, and litigation. You’ll be a key partner to the business, helping identify risks, provide strategic guidance, and ensure legal and regulatory compliance across operations.

What You’ll Do

• Provide legal counsel on corporate governance, contracts, compliance, regulatory, antitrust, and IP matters
• Support corporate operations including contract administration, records management, and legal research
• Assist with mergers & acquisitions, litigation matters, and administrative proceedings
• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of agreements
• Partner with internal stakeholders to align legal strategies with business objectives
• Manage multiple priorities using strong organizational and analytical skills
• Offer guidance and support to leadership and cross-functional teams
• Take on additional legal projects and responsibilities as needed

What We’re Looking For

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school with a strong academic record
• Licensed to practice law in Ohio (or eligible for in-house/corporate counsel registration)
• 2–6 years of experience drafting and negotiating contracts
• Ability to work independently and exercise sound legal judgment with minimal supervision
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and database systems
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• High level of professionalism and ability to handle confidential information
