Maple Ridge Senior Living is searching for an experienced Dietary Supervisor. The successful candidate will be a talented and motivated Dietary Supervisor with compassion, and a desire to provide the best nutritious meals for our residents. Position: Dietary Supervisor (M-F, every other weekend)

Job Responsibilities:

• Working supervisor position - cooking and serving as needed
• Will work alongside the Dietary Director
• Create and maintain nutritious menus for residents, with an understanding of clinical aspects related to food in the Skilled Nursing environment
• Manage staff in the kitchen environment
• Schedule staff for proper service to residents in a timely fashion
• Ordering kitchen supplies as needed
• Oversee and ensure the cleanness and sanitation of the kitchen and dining areas

Are you:

• 2-5 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role, cooking, serving, scheduling, staff training and management
• Customer service orientated
• Certified as a Dietary Supervisor/Manager or possess at least an Associates degree in food service or Culinary Arts
• Experienced in long-term care preferred
• Able to communicate well in both verbal and written forms
• Committed to interacting professionally and with care toward residents, families, and other staff
