We're offering a $500 sign-on bonus and $500 bonus after 90-days for this position! Pay scale: $24.29 - $31.24 DuPont offers an excellent benefits package that includes a generous 401 (k) match, health and dental insurance, 15 days of vacation, a variable bonus plan, and much more! ​The site is in Valley View, Ohio south of Cleveland. near Interstate 77, Interstate 480, and the Ohio Turnpike The facility employs about 135 people and manufactures compression molded, close tolerance-machined composite parts for major aerospace, commercial, and military aircraft engine manufacturers worldwide. As a member of the Controlled Area team, the employee will work with various liquid resins and dry cloth or fiber materials. These materials will be subjected to high heat and pressure processing. The employee is required to wear personal protective equipment that includes some combination of impervious work gloves, protective coveralls, face shields (or goggles), and half mask respirator or PAPR for extended periods of time, daily. In addition, the employee is frequently required to stand for extended periods of time. The employee must occasionally lift and move up to 55 pounds (30 pounds when less than optimal). A lift of over 55-80 pounds will be done with two people. (Over this limit, a mechanical device will be used.) Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to perform the essential functions of this job successfully. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to talk and hear. The employee is also required to stand, walk, and sit. The employee must occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds.
