Bookkeeper / Administrative Assistant - Direct Hire

Near Elyria, Ohio

Up to $22/hour (based on experience)

LHH is partnering with a growing organization near Elyria, Ohio to hire a Bookkeeper / Administrative Assistant on a direct-hire basis. This is an exciting opportunity to join a stable team where you can contribute to both accounting and administrative operations in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process and enter invoices into the accounts payable system with a high level of accuracy
  • Research and resolve invoice discrepancies in a timely manner
  • Prepare and process vendor payments on a regular basis
  • Assist with audits and ensure compliance across multiple locations
  • Maintain organized digital and physical financial records
  • Provide administrative and bookkeeping support to the finance team
  • Support general office operations as needed
Qualifications
  • Associate's degree in Accounting or related field preferred, or 2+ years of bookkeeping/accounting experience
  • Strong attention to detail with accurate data entry skills
  • Solid problem-solving and organizational abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook
  • Experience with accounting software (Microsoft Dynamics or similar is a plus)
  • Basic understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles
  • Ability to pass a background check
