Automation National Sales Manager
Title: Automation National Sales Manager
Location: Remote with up to 25-40% travel within the US
Preferred location : Midwest Region for closer travel
Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Automation National Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts across the country. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth in the industrial automation sector, developing strategic relationships with key clients, and managing a team of sales professionals to achieve ambitious sales targets. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue growth in the industrial automation market.
- Manage and mentor a team of sales representatives to maximize their potential and performance.
- Identify and establish relationships with key customers and decision-makers in target industries.
- Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
- Utilize CRM tools, such as SalesForce, to track sales performance and customer interactions effectively.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to create compelling value propositions and promotional materials.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations and product demonstrations to clients and stakeholders.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure profitable deals and maintain long-term relationships.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven track record in sales management, preferably in the industrial automation sector.
- Strong understanding of industrial automation technologies, including PLCs, HMI, SCADA, robotics, and motion control.
- Experience with industrial networking and related technologies.
- Proficient in using CRM software, especially SalesForce, for managing customer relationships and sales pipelines.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate a sales team to achieve high performance and exceed targets.
Benefits
Compensation ($70,000 - 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience plus incentive-based performance plan)
