Manufacturing Associate

This entry-level role offers an excellent opportunity to join the manufacturing sector, assisting with production and shipping department duties. The role involves operating a forklift or bobcat as required, with training provided. Candidates should be comfortable standing, walking, and lifting for up to 12 hours a day, and engage in general painting throughout the facility. Previous experience in production or manufacturing is advantageous, though not required, as comprehensive training is offered.

Responsibilities

• Assist with production and shipping department duties.
• Operate forklift or bobcat as needed after training.
• Stand, walk, and lift for up to 12 hours a day.
• Perform general painting throughout the facility.
• Learn to operate machinery to assist in the production process.

Essential Skills

• Ability to work a 12-hour rotating schedule.
• Capability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to train on multiple parts of machinery.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Mechanically inclined.
• Good communication skills.
• Time-oriented and organized.
• Experience in construction, concrete, landscaping, or general production is a plus.

Work Environment

This role operates on a 12-hour rotating schedule with shifts from 7am to 7pm for 7 days, followed by 4 days off, then 7pm to 7am for 7 days. Flexibility to work overtime is required. The work environment is dynamic and includes the use of forklifts, machinery, and general labor tasks. Dress code is casual to accommodate physical tasks.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.69 - $20.69/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
