We're looking for a sharp, detail-obsessed Billing & Collections Specialist to join our team and help us keep things running smoothly behind the scenes. If you've got experience navigating the Rethink EMR system and you know your way around claims, denials, and deductibles like a boss—let’s talk.
What You’ll Do:

• Process insurance and private pay billing through the Rethink EMR platform with accuracy and speed



• Monitor and manage accounts receivable , reducing aging balances through proactive collections



• Follow up on unpaid claims , denials, and rejections, resolving issues quickly and professionally



• Communicate with payers and clients regarding billing inquiries, balances, and payment plans



• Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure documentation supports accurate billing



• Maintain HIPAA compliance and confidentiality at all times



• Contribute to process improvements and help keep our revenue cycle humming

What We’re Looking For:

• 
  2+ years of billing and collections experience , preferably in a therapy or healthcare setting



• 
  Experience using Rethink EMR is highly preferred (bonus points if you're fluent in it)



• Strong knowledge of insurance claims, denials, CPT codes, and EOBs
  



• A self-starter who thrives in remote work environments and doesn’t wait to be told what’s broken



• Clear, respectful communication skills—with clients, payers, and teammates alike



• High level of organization, accuracy, and follow-through
  



• Ability to balance multiple priorities without letting anything fall off the radar

Compensation: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour

Therapy and Wellness Connection is a leading Northeast Ohio provider of speech therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, behavior therapy, individualized education (homeschooling, tutoring, etc.), vocational services and summer camp for children and young adults with a broad range of delays, disorders and disabilities. We serve clients in Cleveland, Akron, Brecksville-Broadview Heights and surrounding communities.
