Global Real Estate- Program Manager, Vice President
Job Description
The Global Real Estate (GRE) team consists of more than 600 employees, executing 6,000 capital projects per year globally totaling nearly $8 billion a year in design, construction and capital investment.
As a Program Manager within Global Real Estate, you will Provide Program Management oversight for specific programmatic project delivery efforts (Capital Projects and Refresh Programs) providing consistency for D&C Leadership, Project teams, LOB Leadership as well as Internal Business Partners.
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare and coordinate Executive Level Program reporting for LOB, CFO and GRE CFO
- Maintain functional and managerial reporting on Program, including Scope, Schedule, Milestones and costs
- Coordinate and report on yearly Program planning with Client Management team
- Align and track Program planning with GRE regions, D&C Global Design team, GRE Client Management and LOB
- Coordinate and inform all members of Program Delivery team regarding impacts to program
- Create, Maintain and communicate Program Operational Guidebook to all members of the Delivery Team
- Participate in Individual Project Intake calls to align Programmatic Projects with Program efforts
- Reinforce identified standards and process
- Identify and Implement Lessons learned at the program level
- Inform and connect all members of the Program Delivery team on lessons learned, best practices and any operational changes impacting Delivery
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- 10+ years’ experience in program and or project management within the Construction, Architecture, Real Estate Development or Facilities Management industries.
- Experience in program administration, governance and controls.
- Strong organization, prioritization, and decision-making skills
- Results-oriented mentality and strong attention to detail
- Proven, extensive day-to-day project management experience, ability to address issues and develop solutions in real time, and ability to drive a project team and external stakeholders toward successful execution. Extensive experience managing multiple projects/workstreams, meeting commitments in full and on time, and balancing competing priorities
- Self-motivated and able to work well under pressure.
- Extensive experience in managing project teams, defining internal roles and responsibilities, and motivating team members to execute on the work plan
- Advanced ability to closely partner with senior and line managers and other stakeholders on projects. Given a strong fact base, candidate should be able to maintain a point of view in the face of resistance
- Superior written and oral executive-level communication skills, including the ability to quickly adjust messages based on different audiences and agendas, and convey program concepts.
- Flexible work style, ability to work with stakeholders and colleagues at all levels and to develop, maintain, and strengthen partnerships that can provide information, assistance, and support. Demonstrated ability to appropriately deploy and develop junior talent within the team
