Production Associate
Currently seeking Production Associates to assist with the Melt Shop in one of our Heavy Manufacturing facilities in Lorain County!
We are looking for dedicated, hard working and motivated employees to join the team!
2nd shift starts at 2pm
3rd shift starts at 9pm
Job Duties Can Include-
- Following work instructions, Reading work orders
- Understand quality expectations and work within standards
- Operating heavy machinery
- Creating molds and cores for our metal sand casting process
- Lifting up to 50+ lbs consistently
- Working in a heavy manufacturing environment (sand, fluctuating temps)
- Using equipment such as hand tools, tow motors, blasters and overhead/JIB cranes
- Working with a team as well as independently
- Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment
- Other duties as assigned based on business need
Physical Requirements / Work Environment:
- Heavy manufacturing experience highly preferred
- Must be able to perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials during your shift
- Lift and carry up to 50+ lbs consistently
- Comfortable wearing FULL RESPIRATORY SAFETY EQUIPMENT *must be relatively clean shaven*
- Standing and bending for long periods of time
- Indoor and outdoor climate conditions during all seasons and in varying temperatures
