General Laborer 1st Shift

Location: Wickliffe , OH
Hours: 1st Shift |8:00 AM 4:30 PM with OT as needed occasional 4am-4pm
$ Pay: $17hr

Job Responsibilities

1 Properly handle and store customer materials.
2 Stay aware of crane lifting capacity and material weights.
3 Maintain awareness of cranes, trucks, forklifts, and nearby operators.
4 Inspect slings, chains, and lifting equipment before use.
5 Follow all plant safety requirements.
6 Keep work area clean and free of trip hazards.
7 Band and crimp material according to work instructions.
8 Communicate clearly with crane operators.
9 Safely operate forklifts.
Perform additional duties as assigned by Supervisor.
11 Support and assist with ISO 9001:2008 standards.
12 Follow company procedures and work instructions.
13 Understand and support the Quality Policy (Quality, Delivery, Cost).
14 Follow all Job Safety Analysis (JSA) requirements.
15 Communicate effectively with coworkers.
16 Work independently and responsibly.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent.
Must pass a pre-employment physical & drug screening.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to work independently and follow detailed instructions.
Forklift and crane operation experience preferred.

Environment has no heat in winter and no air in summer. Attire should be fitting for the weather, comfortable, and able to get dirty. Uniform provided upon hire.
