WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR: Job Summary The primary focus of this role is to cultivate a vibrant and engaging community for Independent Living residents by developing and implementing wellness and lifestyle programs that foster socialization, engagement, and a sense of belonging. The individual in this position is responsible for planning, coordinating, and promoting a variety of resident events, ensuring active participation and continuous improvement through resident feedback. This role will assist the sales team to help meet occupancy goals. Roles and Responsibilities - Creates a sense of community among the Independent Living residents through wellness and lifestyle programs, which provide opportunities for socialization, engagement, and contribution.
- Plans, coordinates, communicates, and encourages participation for Independent Living Residents events.
- Solicits input and involves the residents in the continued development of the lifestyle through feedback and future planning.
- Recruits, trains, organizes, plans volunteers specifically for the Independent Living residents.
- Maintains active participation and seeks appointment to at least one committee of a community organization (e.g. Realtor Association, Senior Citizen support service).
- Maintains a wide-variety of public and private contacts to develop and promote positive public relations for the campus; including not-for-profit organizations, service clubs, professional organizations, etc.
- Supervises Independent Living move in process.
- Arranges and conducts tours in partnership with the campus back-up team.
- Assists sales efforts as assigned by the Director of Sales.
- Other Duties as assigned.
Qualifications Education: Associate Degree Experience: 1-3 years Licenses and Certifications Valid Drivers License. In the event the incumbent provides transportation services to residents, they must possess and maintain the appropriate valid license and/or certifications required to operate vehicles for transporting residents safely and in compliance with all applicable state regulations. In addition, those working in Kentucky must complete a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical before providing transportation services. Physical Requirements Sitting, standing, bending, reaching, stretching, stooping, walking, and moving intermittently during working hours. Must be able to lift at least 50lbs. Must be able to maintain verbal and written communication with co-workers, supervisors, residents, family members, visitors, vendors, and all business associates outside of the health campus.
