Job Description

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the installation of new equipment, diagnosing and repairing equipment failures, troubleshooting and repairing hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and rebuilding pumps and gearboxes. Additional responsibilities include sheet metal fabrication, machining, welding, rigging, process piping, and routine preventative maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Install new equipment efficiently and safely.
• Diagnose and repair equipment failures to maintain operational efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Rebuild pumps and gearboxes to ensure long-term functionality.
• Engage in sheet metal fabrication and machining.
• Perform welding, rigging, and process piping tasks.
• Conduct routine preventative maintenance to prevent downtime.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 5 years’ industrial mechanical maintenance experience.
• Proficiency in electrical, mechanical, and preventive maintenance tasks.
• Ability to troubleshoot and maintain equipment effectively.
• Experience with rigging, precision alignment, and pipe fitting.
• Possession of personal tools and comfort working at heights.
• Willingness to work a 12-hour shift.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in welding (stick, arc/mig) preferred.
• Knowledge of schematic and PLC troubleshooting and control.
• Experience working on paper converting machinery.
• Familiarity with pumps, rolls, conveyors, AC, and coater controls.

Work Environment

Work in a union shop within a million square foot facility equipped with large industrial equipment. The environment is clean, although not climate controlled.

This is a Permanent position based out of Cincinnati, OH.

The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $68000.00/yr.

This is a fully onsite position in Cincinnati,OH.
