Fusion Safety is hiring Project Safety Specialists for projects north of Cincinnati. These are LOCAL roles and do not pay a PER DIEM. The Project Safety Specialists will provide services to clients on commercial construction sites. Qualified applicants must have a minimum of OSHA 30hr and 3 years of construction safety experience. Previous experience in the trades or working at height is desired but not required. Must have familiarity in the following subject matter:

- MEWP
- NFPA 70E
- General Electrical Safety
- Scaffolding
- Fall Protection
-Rigging
-Welding Safety
- CPR/AED/FA

The responsibilities for these jobs include:
- Site specific safety inspection

- Daily/weekly safety meetings, and pre-shift safety huddles

- Attend CM safety meetings, and interactions as it relates to OSHA

- Continuous safety observations for negative and positive behaviors and practices.

- Provide a resource for the customer for any safety challenges.

- Communicate with supervision and crew members to correct negative safety behaviors or practices in a constructive manner and viewing this responsibility as an opportunity to teach and protect workers.

- Record safety observations in standardized reports or software programs.

- Perform incident investigations.

A behavior-based approach to safety is required. Fusion Safety strongly believes in using coaching techniques to achieve safety performance goals.

The individual(s) selected must be able to climb ladders and walk job sites on uneven ground for approximately 90% of the workday. The Project Safety Specialist must also be proficient in the use of Microsoft products and be able to develop various plans and reports utilizing good technical writing skills.
