Mechanical HVAC Engineer – Cincinnati, OH

Join a growing MEP consulting firm as a Mechanical HVAC Engineer and help design innovative, energy-efficient building systems for commercial, healthcare, education, and industrial projects.

Responsibilities:

• Design HVAC systems for new construction and renovation projects.
• Perform heating/cooling load calculations and equipment selection.
• Develop construction drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate with electrical, plumbing, architectural, and structural teams.
• Conduct site visits and support construction administration.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable codes and industry standards.
• Communicate with clients, contractors, and project teams throughout project delivery.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 2+ years of HVAC design experience in an MEP consulting environment preferred.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit; familiarity with HVAC design software.
• Knowledge of ASHRAE standards, mechanical codes, and building systems.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification preferred but not required.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a collaborative team environment.
