Industrial Systems Reliability Technician
Job Description
Job Description
Step into a day on our maintenance team
You arrive to a fast-paced manufacturing and distribution floor where uptime matters. Your first task is a scheduled preventive inspection on automated conveyors. You verify guards, belts, rollers, and sensors, make small adjustments, and log everything in our CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System). Mid-morning, production flags a hydraulic issue. You isolate the fault, rebuild a valve, and bring the line back up safely. After lunch, you review blueprints and schematics to prep a minor equipment modification, then fabricate a bracket and perform a clean weld to complete the change. When an unexpected breakdown hits, you respond quickly, diagnose mechanical and pneumatic components, and restore flow so teams can hit their goals.
What you will do- Execute routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance on automated conveyor systems to keep operations safe and efficient.

- Conduct inspections to spot emerging issues and take proactive corrective actions.

- Partner with production and engineering on upgrades, retrofits, and continuous improvements.
- Track work orders, parts, and maintenance history using CMMS.
- Follow safety practices and adhere to OSHA regulations at all times.
- Respond rapidly to emergency breakdowns to reduce downtime.
- High school diploma or GED required; technical certification in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or a related field preferred.
- 3 plus years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
- Hands-on experience with conveyor systems such as powered roller, belt, and sortation, including related components.
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems, diagnostics, and repair.
- Familiarity with electrical systems, motors, PLCs, and basic electrical troubleshooting is a plus.
- Ability to interpret schematics and mechanical drawings.
