Electro/Mechanical Assembler I
Job Responsibilities:
- Assemble sub-assemblies and system-level electro-mechanical hardware according to specifications
- Follow written work instructions, assembly procedures, and mechanical drawings
- Use hand tools such as screwdrivers, torque wrenches, crimpers, and soldering tools
- Perform in-process testing and inspection of assembled products when required
- Conduct basic mechanical measurements using calipers and other inspection tools
- Perform basic electrical testing using multimeters when required
- Complete Device History Records (DHR) and maintain accurate documentation
- Support packaging, reconditioning, and other manufacturing support tasks as needed
- Ensure compliance with QSR, ISO, EHS, and company quality standards
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Participate in process improvements and workplace safety initiatives
- Support training activities and cross-functional manufacturing needs
Skills:
- Experience in mechanical or electro-mechanical assembly preferred
- Proficiency with hand tools and basic mechanical assembly techniques
- Ability to read and follow work instructions, diagrams, and engineering drawings
- Basic knowledge of inspection tools (calipers, indicators, etc.)
- Familiarity with basic electrical testing equipment (multimeters) is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and quality-focused mindset
- Basic computer skills; Oracle familiarity is a plus
- Ability to work in a structured, repetitive manufacturing environment
- Good communication and teamwork skills
Education/Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required (or equivalent experience/training)
