Sales operations coordinator

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the first point of contact for all walk-in customers, providing solutions and product recommendations.
• Handle call-in orders, ensuring efficient and accurate processing.
• Assist new customers in identifying solutions and establishing initial sales relationships.
• Manage all transactional paperwork, including processing credit card payments, generating invoices, and tracking sales documentation.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and customer-friendly front counter area.
• Act as a liaison between outside sales reps and internal systems to support timely order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
• Convert quotes into sales orders, ensuring all pricing, terms, and scope are accurate.
• Manage the flow of contracts between BS Legal and customers until final approval and signature.
• Serve as the gatekeeper for job starts by ensuring all necessary documentation (contracts, approvals, payments) is complete, accurate, and compliant.
• Support tracking and follow-up of outstanding paperwork or customer requirements that may delay job execution.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in a sales support, customer service, or operations coordinator role.
• Experience in the construction, industrial services, or related industry a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with Salesforce preferred.
