Sales operations coordinator

Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for all walk-in customers, providing solutions and product recommendations.
- Handle call-in orders, ensuring efficient and accurate processing.
- Assist new customers in identifying solutions and establishing initial sales relationships.
- Manage all transactional paperwork, including processing credit card payments, generating invoices, and tracking sales documentation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and customer-friendly front counter area.
- Act as a liaison between outside sales reps and internal systems to support timely order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
- Convert quotes into sales orders, ensuring all pricing, terms, and scope are accurate.
- Manage the flow of contracts between BS Legal and customers until final approval and signature.
- Serve as the gatekeeper for job starts by ensuring all necessary documentation (contracts, approvals, payments) is complete, accurate, and compliant.
- Support tracking and follow-up of outstanding paperwork or customer requirements that may delay job execution.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in a sales support, customer service, or operations coordinator role.
- Experience in the construction, industrial services, or related industry a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with Salesforce preferred.
