Project Manager Principal
job summary:
A Project Manager Principal is needed for a world class utility company in the New Albany, OH area. This role involves leading the bid development and execution of complex FERC 1000 transmission projects within a matrix environment by managing stakeholder relationships, project controls, and safety standards to ensure successful delivery and customer satisfaction.

responsibilities:
- Plan and manage all project phases, leading meetings for public engagement, utilities coordination, and contract strategies.
- Deliver complex reports and presentations to senior leadership.
- Enforce the System Safety Process to ensure a zero-harm environment.
- Manage project plans, schedules, budgets, and staffing while reallocating funds as needed.
- Challenge technical assumptions regarding design and cost factors.
- Build relationships with project teams, vendors, and external partners to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Provide supervisory duties for assigned direct reports.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Business with 7 years of experience, or an Associate degree with 9 years.
- Experience in project management, major construction, project controls, or project engineering within a production environment.
- PMP certification is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in matrix team management and joint venture coordination.

- Ability to manage complex stakeholder environments and direct reports.
