TURAS Hospice & Palliative Care is seeking a seasoned, visionary Hospice Director to lead the development and launch of our new hospice company—serving the Medina, Akron, Cleveland, North Canton, and Canton markets.
As part of a trusted healthcare ownership group already caring for over 5,000 seniors across independent living, assisted living, home health, and physician services, TURAS Hospice is uniquely positioned to grow rapidly with a built-in, captive referral base. This is your opportunity to lead from the ground up, shaping clinical standards, culture, and operational excellence in one of the area’s most respected and well-positioned healthcare groups.What You'll Lead
· • Full hospice start-up leadership—from licensure through launch and operations
· • Survey readiness preparation, including policy development, compliance protocols, and documentation
· • Recruitment and mentorship of a high-performing interdisciplinary team
· • Strategic collaboration with referring physicians, facility partners, and internal clinical teams
· • Oversight of regulatory compliance with CMS, ODH, and accrediting bodies
· • Establishment of a mission-driven care model for end-of-life excellence
What You Bring
· • Proven experience launching or expanding a hospice agency
· • Deep knowledge of hospice survey process, CMS requirements, and Ohio regulations
· • RN licensure or clinical leadership strongly preferred
· • Track record of success leading interdisciplinary teams
· • A builder’s mindset—strategic, hands-on, and driven to make an impact
