Position Overview

The Apartment Maintenance Technician will primarily assist with unit punches and apartment turns, helping the team prepare units quickly and efficiently for new residents. This role is essential in maintaining property standards and ensuring apartments are move-in ready.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete punch list items to ensure units meet quality standards
• Assist with apartment turns, including:
  • Painting touch-ups or full unit paint
  • Drywall repair and patching
  • Basic plumbing repairs (fixtures, leaks, clogs)
  • Light electrical work (fixtures, outlets, switches)
  • Appliance checks and minor repairs
• Ensure all work is completed in a timely and professional manner
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas
• Work collaboratively with the maintenance team to meet turnover deadlines

Requirements

• Previous maintenance or general labor experience preferred (apartment/multifamily experience a plus)
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and general repairs
• Strong attention to detail, especially for unit readiness
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to quality work
